iDok Document Management System

We are currently preparing a new release, featuring a new REST (Representational State Transfer) based web service interface. This allows easier communication with web based clients. Example code of using this technology from a wiki (TWiki) is provided. The web client is itself based on GWT technology (Google Web Toolkit). You can peek into the development using our subversion repository access.

Besides numerous bugfixes this release improved the PDF rendering in the GUI client and added more conversion and preview options for numerous document types.

Today the first version of iDok was officially released. feedback is highly welcome.

Welcome to iDok!
iDok is an document management system based on state-of-the-art open source projects. Initial releases of iDok have been developed by the IT department of Paul Scherrer Institute.

We are currently preparing the iDok source code for a public open source release. This web site will be the entry point to all information regarding the iDok open source project and is currently incomplete and under heavy construction.
